3M Silver Protector Strips

I have used these tarnish preventer strips for several years, ordering from Lillian Vernon. I was very disappointed to learn they are no longer available. I was thrilled to discover Amazon has them and am ordering a new supply. Very few products actually live up to their hype, but these do! Just use them as directed by one of the other reviewers: polish silver, place item in a plastic bag, and add one Silver Protector Strip. Close the bag and you will be amazed. I even put them in my china cabinet behind some of my displayed silver trays. Months later your silverware item will still be bright and shiny- about as near tarnish-proof as possible. These have proven to be great time-savers for me! Highly recommend!

After days of cleaning silver, brass and copper with the "wipe on-wipe off" cleaner, and finding that it was "wipe on-rub, rub,rub,rub - rinse and polish, polish polish, - and still getting smudges, I had had it. I got myself to the computer and looked up "silver polishers and silver keepers." I decided on the 3M Silver Protector Strips and placed them in the china cabinet with the sparkling silver, copper and brass, and, Joila they are still as beautiful as when I placed them in the cabinet.br /br /Thank you 3-M for making a product that does what it says it will do. I will recommend it to all my friends.br /br /Dianne

I have used these strips for years. I wrap the silver item in plastic wrap and throw in a 3M Silver Protector Strip. The next time I use the item I have no or minimum tarnish. Wonderful!
